Drivers Permits in Wisconsin

According to a research done between 2006 and 2010, car accidents are the leading cause of teenage deaths in Wisconsin. Statistics like this have prompted the state to implement a Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program. The GDL program is aimed at helping teens become more responsible drivers. Under the program, teens must achieve certain milestones before getting a driver’s license.

Obtaining your learner’s permit is the first step in the Wisconsin GDL program.
