A Nevada driving record contains information about your convictions, including those occurring in other states, demerit points, accidents that you have been involved in and your driver’s license history (revocations, suspensions, cancellations and denials).

You can order for your driving record online, in person or by mail. Certified copies of your driving record can ONLY be ordered by mail. To order for your driving record online, you have to visit My DMV service website and provide Your NV driver’s license or ID card, date of birth, a valid e-mail address and Social Security number. It is important to note that you will only be able to view and/or print your driving record at that time; you will not be able to do so again unless you pay for it.  To order by mail, you will need a completed Application for Individual Record Information (form IR002). Then mail the form to:

DMV Records Section
555 Wright Way
Carson City, NV 89711

To order for a copy of your driving record in person, visit your local Nevada DMV office. You will only be required to provide your driver’s license and the required fee. The state does not provide free driving record; you will have to pay a fee of $7 and an additional of $4 if you order for a certified copy.

You may be able to request for another driver’s driving record if you are any of the following: government agency, official or employee, law enforcement officer, parent or legal guardian and employers conducting a background check. For more information visit the Department of Motor Vehicles.
